End of Another Year
Time Flies. Another turn of the calendar page brings another year. How do we mark time? Do we mark it by our successes or our failures? Do we mark it by our health or our wealth; how many times we went to the doctor, or how much we were able to accumulate? Do we mark it by the number of likes on a Facebook page? Speaking of Facebook and reading some of the postings, 2016 appears to be a bad "time" because of two events: the election of Donald Trump as president and the passing of Princess Leia, in the person of Carrie Fisher. Frankly, to me, this seems pure foolishness. Today I read Psalm 119.
