Little Surprises
Do you like surprises? I do, but the ones I like most are the unexpected ones. Okay, so you think that last statement is an oxymoranic one, but here's what I mean. Birthdays and Christmases come every year, no surprise that you will receive packages. You may even know what to expect in those packages, because if you are anything like me, you have put out plenty of hints! I can honestly say that until yesterday, I have only been truly unexpectedly surprised once in my life. February 17th of last year was our son Timothy's birthday. We called him early in the morning to wish him a happy birthday, but he said, "I have to go, I can't talk." Needless to say we were upset and blamed the pressure on him from his workplace in Wisconsin. This is all John and I talked about on our way to my violin lesson.
